Production ManagerThere’s one person in an advertising agency who knows the status
of every job in the shop. That’s the Production Manager.

A Production Manager must:

  • Work collaboratively with the art staff, the account service staff and the media
    staff
  • Be extremely detail-oriented
  • Have the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Understand the difference between CMYK and PMS
  • Build solid, trusting relationships with printers and other out-sourced service
    providers
  • Be able to prepare a file to exacting specifications, and then deliver it to the
    vendor or client in any of a number of channels
  • Supervise job flow through the agency
  • Provide account staff with timely, correct project estimates
  • Maintains current software & computer skills related to daily job functions

Skills & requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Time management skills
  • Collaborative problem-solver
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Adobe Suite experience a plus
  • Workamajig software experience a plus
