TJ Abrams is the Global Brand Director on the Holiday Inn Brand Family at the Intercontinental Hotels Group. He has over 13 years of experience in marketing and brand management in both US and Global roles. He recently joined IHG in October 2015 from The Coca-Cola Company where he was the Global Senior Brand Manager on the Coca-Cola TM. During his 7-year tenure at Coca-Cola he worked in strategic roles of increasing responsibility on some of the biggest and fastest growing brands in the world including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite and the Global Adults portfolio (including Seagrams, Schweppes and Canada Dry).
His accomplishments at Coca-Cola include relaunching Coca-Cola Zero in the US and growing it to 20+ quarters of double-digit growth, leading Olympics (2012) and FIFA World Cup (2014) campaigns in the US, and most recently developing global strategic business plans for Sprite and the Coca-Cola TM.
In addition to his experience at Coca-Cola, he also worked in marketing at Lowe’s Home Improvement and Abbott Laboratories.
TJ earned his MBA from Duke University and his BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
